In addition to diamonds, we specialize in crafting jewelry in 18 carat gold. Our range includes yellow, white, rose, and blended gold rings, as well as perfectly matched diamond earrings certified by GIA at 1 carat each. With an extensive selection of 18 carat diamond designs, including Princess, Oval, Emerald, and Baguette shapes, we strive to cater to all styles and preferences.
At Golding & Son, we understand the importance of quality and assurance. That's why we provide a valuation certificate with every piece of jewelry, free of charge. This certificate serves as proof of the quality and authenticity of your purchase, and is recognized by insurers. You will receive two certificates - one for yourself and one for your insurer, giving you peace of mind.
Lastly, we want to highlight the current opportunity to purchase diamonds at unbeatable prices. "Not impressed at all with this shop, went in to have my watch battery replaced, the technician said OK, then I asked him to perform a pressure test to make sure the watch is still waterproof after the battery replacement and he refused the job saying my watch was only plastic ($1200 casio mud master, hardly cheap plastic watch). I asked him who can do it for me in town, he replied: there are only 3 watch makers on the island and you are talking to one of them. No one will do it for you... Went around the corner to another shop (Casio authorised repair shop) job got done and was on my way in 30mins..."
"Been here multiple occasions for odd jobs (ring resize, new clasp for necklace, watch fix) and every time the older guy who works there was incredibly patronising and dismissive. He flat out refused to resize my engagement ring because his "list was too long for me". So went up the road and got great service, and my ring resized in a couple of days."
"Colin and his staff are very friendly and helpful and repairs are fast and affordable. Nothing ever seems to be too much trouble. Have been to other jewellers nearby for repairs and the service is the best here by far!!"
"I have used this business twice and both times were an ordeal. The first time was to repair my broken string of pearls about 7 years ago. They didn't restring them the same distance apart so the necklace was far shorter and didn't look the as good. They out right refused to fix it and I had to go to another business to have it repaired. Nigel was rude and arrogant in dealing with the issue. Spouting that he has worked in the industry for however many years and knows they are exactly the same. It was just unnecessarily aggressive and unwarranted. Recently I decided to use them again to get a ring resized. I should have learnt my lesson the first time, but they are very conveniently located. To my happy surprise I was served by a very friendly and helpful man. The ring was resized too small, but he fixed it free of charge, quickly and was very pleasant. However when I called to check up on the resizing progress I had the unfortunate experience of having to deal with Nigel again. Again he was rude and unnecessarily aggressive, not sure why because the ring was ready and it was the right size, somehow he managed to turn it into an opportunity to be rude. Never again for me."
"We continually go back to Goldings to buy presents for each other, as the staff are very helpful, pleasant and knowledgeable. We feel we have bought very well from them. So on the Sales side they would score 5/5. Unfortunately I would not score them as highly on service. I put my new (gift, bought from them) watch in with them to get a longer band as I could not wear it. I was told about a fortnight, but I would have to accept a "crocodile skin" pattern band as the plain ones weren't available. I reluctantly accepted, if there was no other option. When I hadn't heard from them in nearly a month, I went to the shop and checked - they had not been able to get the "crocodile skin" band I supposedly wanted and so hadn't contacted me. In fact, the band that was sent in lieu was the supposedly-unavailable plain one I had wanted all along! Obviously, I'm very pleased it went that way, but they had my contact number, so why not contact me? Chances are I would have had my watch back weeks ago!"
