Since 1975, our veterinarians and staff have been committed to preventing and treating diseases using the latest veterinary medical knowledge. We believe in fostering the age-old human-animal bond with empathy, compassion, and respect. Staying at the forefront of new and innovative technology allows us to provide state-of-the-art procedures for the benefit of our patients.
We treat your pets as if they were our own, ensuring their comfort and well-being throughout their time with us. In case of emergencies outside of our normal clinic hours, we recommend seeking after-hours care at the After Hours Emergency Veterinary Centre (AHVEC) located at 37 Derwent Park Road, Moonah.
Desexing dogs and cats between 4 to 6 months of age is a recommendation we make to promote their overall health. Older animals can also be desexed, although learned male behaviors in older male pets may not improve.
Vaccination is crucial in giving your pet a long and healthy life. Protecting them against common diseases and issues is one of the most important things you can do as a pet owner.
Our Veterinary and Nursing teams boast years of experience and take pride in providing exceptional care for our clients and their pets. Knowing that your pet is in safe hands is just as important to us as it is to you. We strive to keep your pet calm and provide excellent veterinary care.

"Friendly professional service. Highly recommended."
"Wonderful with my pups, almost no waiting time, and both the vet nurse and vet were super knowledgeable and answered all our questions."
"Could not have been helpful, supportive, caring and compassionate - the desk team, nurses and vets all made a sad and difficult experience as comfortable as it could have been."
"A very dedicated team that has a priority for your pet needs. They communicate in a language that you can understand. Very accommodating staff."
"I’ve been taking my pets to Channel Highway Animal Hospital for many, many years. I always see Neale as he’s compassionate, gentle, easy to talk to and has empathy when you lose your best friend. I’d never want a stranger to have to put my dog to sleep. My dog, Pepper, is used to Neale after 9 years and likes his visits there - they’ve never been associated with trauma. It’s usually me that has separation anxiety. They have never over serviced my dogs for profit and are clear about costs. When Pepper was younger they encouraged me to visit and they would give him a treat so that he associated going there as a pleasant experience, though sometimes it isn’t. I can always start doing that again though Pepper sees the vet as a pleasant experience despite the indignity of the thermometer. I’d recommend this surgery, in particular Neale although I’m sure the other vets are just as conscientious."
