At Carolyn Coulson Psychology, we offer psychological therapy to adult clients aged 26 and above. Our clinical psychologist, Carolyn, is a board-approved supervisor registered with APHRA. With her expertise and experience, she specializes in assisting individuals who have experienced trauma, abuse, or neglect. Additionally, Carolyn has a keen interest in supporting clients with chronic medical conditions, including chronic pain.

Carolyn's extensive training includes a Master of Clinical Psychology and a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD). She began her career as a psychologist in 2014 and has since worked in various settings, including psychiatric hospitals, medical hospitals, rehabilitation services, public mental health services, academic research, and teaching. Her diverse background has equipped her with a comprehensive understanding of different psychological needs and treatment approaches.

At Carolyn Coulson Psychology, our priority is to provide evidence-based, collaborative, and effective psychological therapy. We strive to create a therapeutic relationship where our clients feel safe, respected, and empowered. We believe in tailoring our approach to meet the unique needs of each individual, ensuring the most beneficial outcomes.

We offer a range of specific psychological therapies, including schema therapy, eye movement desensitization and reprocessing (EMDR), pain management psychology, acceptance and commitment therapy, and cognitive-behavioral therapy. Carolyn is an accredited EMDR practitioner with EMDRAA, ensuring the highest standard of care for our clients.
