Welcome to JADA Geelong, located in the vibrant suburb of Geelong West on Arnott Street. Our establishment is a point of interest for both locals and visitors alike, offering a variety of fun and engaging dance classes for children.

At JADA, we believe in the power of dance to foster confidence, creativity, and fitness in children. Our qualified teacher, Julieanne, brings a wealth of experience and expertise, having trained with The Australian Academy of Theatrical and Ballet Dancing Inc. Julieanne's passion for dance shines through in her teaching, and she is dedicated to helping each student reach their full potential.

Our school offers a wide range of dance styles to cater to different interests and abilities. From jazz and tap to funk, contemporary, fairy ballet, and even musical theatre, there's something for everyone at JADA. We believe in providing a well-rounded dance education that allows students to explore different styles and discover their own unique talents.

One of the highlights of being a student at JADA is the opportunity to perform. For the past 26 years, our students have been regular performers at Pako Festa, a popular cultural festival in Geelong. They have graced the stage and taken part in the event's lively street parade, showcasing their skills and spreading joy through dance. Our students have also had the privilege of performing in other local events and venues such as Splash Dance, D for Dance, The Seaview Club, Beat Inc, and various fetes and festivals.

Julieanne's own journey in dance started at the age of 5, when she began studying a wide range of dance styles including tap, jazz, character, highland, and theatrical. She continued her classical training at the prestigious Geelong Ballet Centre under the guidance of Peter Dickinson and Anne Peterson. Julieanne's passion for dance took her to Melbourne, where she became an assistant dance teacher to Barbara Gleeson. She also had the opportunity to train at the renowned Pineapple Dance Studio in London and teach tap dancing in Iceland. Throughout her career, Julieanne has not only performed as a dancer with The Geelong Musical Comedy Company and Geelong Lyric Theatre Society but has also choreographed shows for various theater companies and schools.
