Welcome to Chilwell Primary School, a high performing establishment located in Newtown, Australia. At Chilwell, we are dedicated to "future making" for every single student in our community. Our classroom programs are designed to create a positive and cooperative learning environment where children can reach their full potential in all curriculum areas.

We offer a sequential and inclusive curriculum based on the Victorian Curriculum, enriched by the use of Learning Technologies such as our BringIT2Chilwell iPad program for students in years 2-6. Our teaching staff is committed to continuous professional development, with team planning and Professional Learning Teams driving our shared pedagogy. We also provide support through literacy, numeracy, and ICT coaching.

With an enrollment of 410 students, Chilwell is a family-oriented school that values a strong partnership with the community. We strive to create a learning environment where care, courtesy, and respect for the rights and property of all are valued. As part of our commitment to using technology as a tool for learning, we offer the optional BringIt2Chilwell program, allowing students to bring their own iPads to school.
