Welcome to Bond Street Kindergarten, a beloved institution in Newtown (Geelong) since 1925. As an independent community-managed kindergarten, we are dedicated to providing high-quality preschool education for children aged 3-5 years.

Our double unit kindergarten offers unique play spaces that ensure excellent quality experiences for all preschool children. We believe in open-ended, play-based learning, providing uninterrupted periods of play that challenge and engage children. Both indoor and outdoor play spaces are equally emphasized, creating a rich and beautiful environment for optimal learning.

Our outdoor play spaces are natural and flowing, giving children a wide range of choices and opportunities for exploration. We understand the importance of catering to each child individually and empowering them to problem solve and make decisions about their play and interaction.

At Bond Street Kindergarten, we also recognize and pay respect to the traditional Aboriginal owners of the land throughout Australia, as well as the Wadawarrung people of the Kulin Nation who have cared for and educated their children on these lands for thousands of years. We are committed to increasing our understanding of Aboriginal ways of being, knowing, and connection to the land within our children's programs.

Child safety and well-being are our top priorities. We are dedicated to creating a child-safe environment where children feel safe and heard, and their voices are valued in decisions that affect their lives. We particularly focus on the cultural safety of Aboriginal children, children from culturally and/or linguistically diverse backgrounds, and children with disabilities.
