Our salon is staffed by talented students and apprentices who are eager to put their skills into practice under the guidance of industry teachers. This allows them to gain valuable hands-on experience in our fully equipped premises.
When you visit The Studio, you can expect individual attention and a little extra time dedicated to your needs. Our fully supervised learning environment ensures that you receive top-notch service while our future hairdressers and beauty therapists hone their craft.
We are also proud to be a part of an incredible non-profit organization called Sustainable Salons. Through this partnership, we strive to achieve zero waste, reduce our carbon footprint, and implement sustainable work practices that benefit the local community. Up to 95% of the resources used during your visit will be diverted from landfill and sent for recycling, thanks to our commitment to Sustainable Salons.
Our salon operates Monday to Friday from 9am to 4pm during school terms. You can find us on Level 2 at Geelong City campus, and access to the salon is through the Little Malop Street walkway. For your convenience, we have included a map below for reference.
It's important to note that our training is delivered with funding from the Victorian and Commonwealth Government, ensuring the highest standards of education and service. The Studio is authorized by the Victorian Government, Melbourne.

"Excellent place to get a haircut if you have the time to spare, as it naturally takes longer than it would at a regular salon. However, what you’ll get in return is someone who listens to precisely what you want done and they take the time and effort to achieve that. I’ve had far superior haircuts here than I have by so called professionals who don’t listen to the most basic of requests. Highly recommend giving the studio and one of their trusted students a try for your next haircut, blow wave or treatment. The ONLY drawback to coming here is that they are closed over the school holidays, and making an appointment can sometimes be a bit hit and miss, as on two occasions I tried, there was no one on reception… which means the calls go unanswered. They also close for a lunch break, deservedly so, but this isn’t advertised anywhere in their opening hours."
