At Health e Medical Centre, we have a team of 13 independent doctors who are committed to delivering exceptional care to our patients. To support them and assist our patients, we have 10 highly skilled practice nurses. With their expertise, our two clinics ensure the highest level of care for everyone who walks through our doors.

In addition to our doctors and nurses, we are proud to have an experienced Allied Health Team consisting of Podiatrists, Dieticians, Psychologists, Sleepwise specialists, and hearing specialists. These professionals work together to provide comprehensive healthcare services to our patients.

Established in 2005, Health e Medical Centre is the result of the amalgamation of two previously established medical practices, Shannon Avenue Medical Centre and Geelong West Medical Centre. In 2013, we further expanded our services to cater to the needs of our growing patient base. Today, we continue to be a comprehensive, professional, and family-friendly medical and health centre that proudly serves the Geelong community.

The safety and well-being of our patients and team are of utmost importance to us. In response to COVID-19, we have implemented various measures and practices to minimize risk. We encourage all patients to continue with their regular medical appointments and treatment to ensure their health is managed effectively. For those interested in receiving the vaccine, we recommend booking online and offering assistance to family members who may need help with the process. Our staff will provide an opportunity to discuss the vaccination before administering it during the appointment.

To ensure the most comprehensive medical care, Health e Medical Centre requires everyone to make an appointment (face to face or telehealth) for all investigation results, including blood tests and imaging results. Our policy does not allow the emailing or faxing of results due to privacy laws. If your results are normal but your problem persists, further investigations or a referral may be necessary.

Our dedicated team of doctors, nurses, and allied health professionals strive to provide the best holistic healthcare possible for all our patients. We take any form of abusive or violent behavior towards our team members very seriously. We expect our patients to treat our staff with courtesy and respect, just as they will be treated. We have a zero-tolerance approach to any verbal, aggressive, or violent abuse, and such behavior will not be tolerated. In extreme cases, involving the police and removal from our practice may be necessary.

As we are experiencing an increase in COVID-19 and Influenza cases in the Geelong region this winter, we urge everyone to take necessary precautions and consider getting vaccinated to protect themselves and their loved ones. We are now accepting bookings for the annual 2023 influenza vaccination, as it is the most important measure to prevent influenza.
