Our services are open and available to support individuals impacted by sexual assault, as well as women, children, and young people experiencing family violence. We are committed to ensuring your safety and well-being, and if you are in immediate danger, please call the police at 000.

At our center, we provide 24-hour immediate crisis care and support for anyone who has recently experienced sexual assault. We offer free and confidential trauma-informed counseling services in the Barwon and Wimmera regions, helping individuals navigate the healing process.

Additionally, we offer free and confidential case management support to women and children experiencing family violence across the Barwon region. Our dedicated team is here to guide and assist you every step of the way.

We also take pride in running various training sessions to support the primary prevention of violence against women and family violence. Our aim is to reach as many people as possible within our communities, creating lasting change and promoting healthy relationships.

The Sexual Assault & Family Violence Centre is a community-based, not-for-profit service that offers a wide range of free and confidential trauma-informed sexual assault and family violence services. We cover the Barwon, Wimmera, and Western Melbourne areas of Victoria, ensuring support is accessible to those who need it most.

We also acknowledge and pay respect to the traditional owners and custodians of the land we stand on. We are committed to working towards creating a community where all individuals, both indigenous and non-indigenous, feel safe, connected, and empowered to live well.

At our center, we recognize and cater to the diverse needs of our community. Our services are inclusive of all children, young people, and their families, including those of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander descent, from culturally and/or linguistically diverse backgrounds, those who identify as LGBTIQ, and persons living with disabilities. We collaborate with partner organizations to ensure comprehensive support for our diverse client group.

Interpreter and translator services are available to all our clients upon request, ensuring that language is never a barrier to accessing the support and care they need.
