"One of my few goals when visiting Hobart was to try wallaby. We heard Peakcock and Jones sold a wallaby dish, we arrived about an hour before dinner service and T the restaurant manager was able to fit us in, after that we met Julian the chef who was absolutely incredible. they promised an us forgettable evening, they did not disappoint. Once they heard of our desire for wallaby they went to another resturant and grabbed us a wallaby pie, they also provided oysters to start. The meal with its 7 (5 standard) courses was perfectly filling. By the end we felt we had enough to eat but were not overwhelmed. Best octopus I've ever eaten. hand downs. Perfectly cooked with an excellent flavor. Wallaby tartar was fantastic, something I will need to have again. Blue Eye Travelly was perfectly cooked and finished with delectable lamb and a light cheesecake. The atmosphere was wonderful, we stayed for 2 hours but it felt like 20 minutes. I cannot wait to return to this resturant. Huge shout out to T and Julian for the unforgettable experience."
