"Rude staff and stale food. I order takeaway croissant in the cafe and she served me 2 frozen stale ones. The staff was rude and when asked if they are fresh they just tried to dodge the question. When I picked the sugar on the side to add in my coffee one staff member rudely said you are not supposed to touch the sugar on the side ask staff member if you need anything. Overrated place just because of beautiful location"
"Good place to stop off for breakfast and a coffee. Fridge cold hollandaise on hot poached eggs just isn't nice for an Eggs Benedict but they are not the only Cafe that does this."
"Driving from Sydney to regional NSW? Take a good, hearty meal here. Waitresses are friendly and the ambience is good. The 'wooden cabin' look lends a warm, inviting feeling to the place. Dishes are 2 to 3 dollars cheaper than what you would be charged in Melbourne or the pricier Sydney cafes. I detest 'highway food' - and if you do too, this place would suit you. I had the avocado on toast with two eggs and a matcha latte. I do object to the 3-dollar charge per egg, but the serve of avocado was generous. The matcha latte did not really awaken me, so purchase a coffee instead."
"A nice spot that definitely felt like it was designed for locals and had that lovely community feel. The food was good and was well priced. Fairly standard Australian breakfast / brunch food, but what we had was done well so no complaints there. Coffee was also good, with decent latte art too. Nothing too strong, but I guess that's the only Cafe in town playing it safe, which is understandable. The outside seating in the sunshine looked gorgeous, and had it been a little warmer we would have been sat out there. Unfortunately we had to sit inside instead, where the place was a little tired, but not too bad. The wooden tables and chairs had the feel of an old pub rather than a modern cafe, but perhaps that's what they're going for? The menus are in dire need of replacement, and our table wasn't clean when we sat down. There were also a bunch of somewhat aggressive signs dotted round the place, some telling you to self serve certain amenities, others telling you explicitly not to self serve things, which was a little odd. All minor gripes, but just enough to knock a star off. Highchairs were available and parking was just around the corner. It also looked like there was a play area on site, but all the "beware of the snakes" signs gave us enough reason not to try it! Overall a nice spot, and if we lived locally I'm sure we'd be regulars, but I'd definitely like to see a few (very minor) changes to make this place perfect."
"This cozy cafe has left the best impressions! Hospitable hosts, delicious dishes, beautiful presentation, nice warm coffee and wonderful dessert. I recommend to everyone! I would like to come back here again and again and also enjoy this local environment."
