"We bought a skateboard for my sons 8th birthday Upon his first ride of it on his birthday we noticed it had a twisted deck. Called the store and was told to bring it straight in on the Sunday. Went in and was offered a $20 refund......managers and staff were no help whatsoever and wouldn’t exchange it or offer a full refund and told us to send it off to the manufacturer and await a reply in 6 weeks time. Leaving my son on his birthday with no gift at all. I was in tears and they completely turned us away. They were going to resell the board in that condition too knowing full well that it had a major defect - they confirmed this. I’m absolutely appalled with city beach and will NEVER shop there ever again. I will tell everyone I know as well. BUYER BEWARE."
