Welcome to Soul Hub, a remarkable establishment located at 49 Hunter Street in Newcastle, Australia. Originally established in 2003 as Soul Café, our institution was created with the noble purpose of serving the needs of the poor, needy, and vulnerable in our community. Over the years, our commitment to this mission has only grown stronger, and we continue to pursue it with unwavering energy and passion.

In response to the increasing numbers of disadvantaged individuals in our community, we have evolved into Soul Hub, a place that offers much more than just a meal. While we take pride in providing nourishing food to our guests, we also strive to deliver a wide range of support and assistance to everyone who walks through our doors.

Our hot breakfast service is available from 7 am to 8:30 am on Monday, Wednesday, Thursday, Friday, and Saturday. Additionally, we offer a hot lunch service from 10:30 am to 12:30 pm on Monday to Thursday. For those looking for a comforting Sunday lunch, we host a fortnightly event from 12 pm to 1 pm in our welcoming dining room. Please note that on September 3, September 17, and October 1, we will be serving Sunday lunch.

We understand that the need for our services is urgent, and we strive to make it as convenient as possible for our supporters to contribute. Donations can be dropped off at Soul between the hours of 9 am and 2 pm from Monday to Thursday, and from 7 am to 8:30 am on Fridays. We have become a safe haven, a refuge, and a family for those who need it most. In our space, everyone is welcome because we believe that nobody is perfect, and anything is possible.

Nicole, a guest for over 2 years, has made incredible progress in her journey towards a better life. Raquel*, a regular face in our dining room, has faced the challenges of addiction that resulted in the loss of her home, job, and family. And then there's Brett, one of our friendliest guests, who simply loves Soul Hub as much as we love him.

If you have any inquiries or would like to visit our Newcastle Hub & Administration, it is located on the 2nd floor at the corner of Hunter and Watt Street in Newcastle, NSW 2300. Our opening hours are as follows: Tuesday and Wednesday from 1:00 pm to 1:45 pm, and Friday from 8:30 am to 9:15 am. Additionally, we are open for breakfast from 7 am to 8:30 am on Monday, Wednesday, Thursday, Friday, and Saturday, and for lunch from 10:30 am to 12:30 pm on Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday.
