Originally known as Redhead's Quality Bake, we have been serving the Redhead community for over 12 years. Our commitment to bringing you the best in baked goods, fresh bread, and exceptional coffee has never wavered. We pride ourselves on delivering top-notch quality, and our team can't wait to meet you.

Our founder, Gareth, began his baking journey as an apprentice baker at Belmont Specialty Cakes and Pies in 1998. It was there that he learned the importance of striving for excellence, a value that has shaped our bakery ever since. Gareth's passion for baking and his vision to create something of his own led him to seize the opportunity when the little Redhead Hot Bread Shop became available in 2008. And thus, Redhead's Quality Bake was born.

From the very beginning, Gareth poured his heart and soul into the bakery. His first two shifts were a total of 48 hours, setting the foundation for the true Bakehouse character. As word spread about the delicious baked goods and warm service, a dedicated team grew around Gareth and his wife, Lauren. Each staff member was hand-picked for their shared commitment to quality and care.

In 2017, following the wise advice of a customer, we rebranded as The Redhead Bakehouse. With a larger shop, a fresh new logo, and a renewed vision, the future was looking bright. This rebrand brought renewed energy to Gareth and the team, sparking a flow of new ideas.

Recognizing the need for convenient, high-quality coffee in the local area, Gareth reached out to Jamie Conway. It was a match made in heaven. Jamie's relentless pursuit of service, unmatched quality, and traceability perfectly aligned with the Bakehouse Ethos. Together, they created Glitch Coffee, with The Redhead Bakehouse as its first customer. We are proud to serve Glitch Coffee, made with precision hardware and expert training, ensuring an unparalleled coffee experience for our customers.
