"Lady serving was very friendly but took our for two flat whites down wrong, made Cappuccino's, with room temp milk hardly any taste of coffee, after 20 mnutes when they where not that busy. Avoid"
"I have been to this Cafe a few times and each time I say I will not go back. Unfortunately there is no other Cafe in Lisarow and it is convenient. The food is ok but the service is terrible. The older lady that owns/works there would have to be one of the rudest service provider I have ever met. She has no manners whatsoever and I am sure her face would crack if she smiled. I watched her serve other people and not once dud she say please or thank you. Simple manners cost nothing. I question why would someone work in the service industry if the obviously don't like people. After today I have decided I will never go in there again."
"I rushed in to this bakery not long before they were closing, and I was greeted by (Annie?) who was straightening tables, cusions and appreciated that she immediately acknowledged I had come in and made her way to the register. I asked for a spinach and feta quiche as they still looked fresh in the pie warmer and not dried out considering the time of the day. Her customer service was perfect, couldn't fault her friendly demeanour, smile and happiness to serve me. I felt really special. The quiche filling was delicious, and the pastry fell apart in my mouth. I rarely write reviews, but the customer service, the product and overall presentation of the bakery was faultless. Would 100% recommend this bakery,"
"Got given the wrong cake yet charged the price of the one we asked for, which was more expensive. When we went back in to correct it, instead of simply apologising for the mistake the girl acted defensive and insisted to us that we asked for the cheaper one even though she clearly charged us for the more expensive one we asked for. And then seemed resistant against giving us the correct cake. I was nice at first but I don’t appreciate being accused of lying. Cake was nice."
"If you go into the hospitality/food business, you need to LIKE SERVING PEOPLE. Customers who walk through the door and spend their hard-earned money pay your wages and keep you open. Without them, business fails. It's simple business. Each time I have gone into this shop the middle-aged woman behind the counter gives me the impression she wants to be somewhere else altogether. Never a smile, never happy conversation, nothing. Some people just don't get it. Additionally, the coffee is too hot. But I have to say the custard slices are to die for."
