Warners Bay High School
About the Business
Welcome to Warners Bay High School, a prominent establishment and point of interest located at Myles Avenue, Warners Bay, Australia. As a secondary school, we are dedicated to providing a comprehensive education to our students.
At Warners Bay High School, we prioritize the overall development of our students. Recently, our Year 12 Extension 2 cohort, consisting of Dakota, Jaiden, and Rosie, organized a luncheon for our incoming Year 11 students, fostering a supportive and welcoming environment.
We understand the importance of preparing our students for life beyond the classroom. That's why our Year 11 students have been engaged in compulsory Life Ready modules, which encompass approximately 20 hours of essential life skills training.
In line with our commitment to providing quality education, we are pleased to announce a 20% off sale at our DAYLIGHT SCHOOLWEAR Uniform Shop. From Friday 1st September 2023 to Friday 22nd September 2023, take advantage of this offer during our normal shop hours.
To ensure academic success, Year 11 Exams will take place from 4th September 2023 to 22nd September 2023. Students will receive detailed information leading up to these important dates.
We believe in nurturing our students' talents and interests beyond the classroom. Therefore, we invite students to participate in the two-day 2023 NSW Oztag Champion of Champions V Tournament held at Gannon's Park, Peakhurst. While transport and accommodation are the responsibility of parents/guardians, our dedicated staff members will provide supervision during the tournament. Please ensure that students are equipped with official Oztag shorts and the WBHS sports polo for the event.
As part of our Community Access program, Allstars Green Class will be visiting Caves Beach. This program offers students the opportunity to learn valuable life skills in real-life situations, such as public transport planning, time management, money handling, and communication skills. Students will travel by public bus and should come in full school uniform, including covered shoes. Don't forget to bring a hat, sunscreen, insect repellent, and a water bottle. Students may also bring snacks or money to purchase food and drinks.
We are delighted to announce that Kilipiynpiyn workshops will be coming to our school to run three different incursions for Aboriginal students. These workshops, chosen by the Junior AECG, will engage students in activities such as reading, drawing, discussions, and creation. Please note that each workshop will be limited to 30 students, and full school sports uniform is required.
Our Year 8 Marine Studies class will have the exciting opportunity to walk to Warners Bay Jetty and practice catch and release fishing. Full school sports uniform is mandatory, and students should bring a water bottle, hat, sunscreen, and insect repellent.
We would like to take a moment to pay our respects and acknowledge the traditional custodians of the land and extend our respect to Elders, both past and present.

"I'm sending my grandson to this school for its special needs classes. It was recommended to me and I'm very glad we did. The special ed teachers are absolutely fantastic, and he enjoys going there. I would suggest to anyone to use this school I thoroughly recommend."
"I have 3 children that have attended Warners Bay can not fault this school. Exceptional staff excellent feedback from children and fellow parents. My children have done exceptionally well throughout their years of High School Education at Warners Bay."
"Tried to attend a class on my first day of attendance at this school, the teacher immediately gave me an odd look, all the students wouldn't talk to me and I had to sit alone, later the police showed up for absolutely no reason and escort me of the premises, when asked why, they told me that 30 year old men aren't allowed to attend year 9 classes. Just plain disrespectful."
