"The resort is very tired and in need of a major update. Our room was so musty we were given a lavender defuser to mask the smell. As a asthmatic I was on medication for the length of our stay. There are no facilities close for snacks or drinks and the bar and restaurant were closed on the Sunday of a long weekend. Breakfast was very average as was the main restaurant. It was such a disappointment. The price paid doesn't reflect the service, food and accommodation offered."

"Spent 2 days in a beachside bungalow mid week early June. The room location was excellent and was absolutely spotless. We were able to watch whales spouting in the distance. Toowoon Bay beach was quiet and clean, great for just walking and thinking of nothing particular. The included breakfast was nice, and had one dinner in the restaurant - a slightly unusual menu considering the high standard of the accomodation, so we supported other local diners as well. All in all, a great experience."

"Although we had a lovely time and staff were very nice we want to remind you to read the small print. We booked a garden bungalow with a spa however there are 4 garden bungalows and 3 have spas and of course as expressed by the staff member we got the worst room in the house. I asked could we be upgraded to a spa room as we believed we had booked a room with a spa and they refused. I asked for a refund and they refused. We had to pay another $400 for the two night stay to get a room with a spa. This was especially disappointing and inconsistent as my son had come only a couple of weeks prior and when they realised he was a successful local business owner they voluntarily upgraded him. The spa room was vacant and we had not entered our room, we’d booked a spa room why would you not swap it. The small print is written small for a reason!"

"We had the most relaxing and enjoyable time at Kim's. The location is right on the beach, great ocean views, tropical grounds, and the sound of waves lapping at the shore at night. We booked a beachfront bungalow which was very comfortable and beachy with a spacious bathroom and spa. The food was divine! 5 star quality! Fresh and tasty seafood, yummy desserts, delicious cocktails. Lots of choices on the breakfast menu too - we started with a hot meal and cappuccino, and then helped ourselves to the cold buffet of croissants, muffins, fruit, juice, etc. The staff were professional, friendly, helpful, and very accommodating - nothing was too much trouble. Definitely a getaway spot to re-visit more often."
