"Might be one of the unlucky ones but went in for an exchange and was disappointed with the service. Not too sure if it was too much of a hassle to do an exchange or that I had a lower budget than expected, the staff made me feel like I couldn’t afford much from the shop. I would’ve preferred if I got rejected for an exchange from the beginning. After the ordeal of settling on an product for exchange, I was told that the gift was out of the exchange period. Understandably, the staff missed it out and I wasn’t aware of the exchange policies. However, I later found out from another Michael Hill outlet that their exchange period had been extended till 23rd January, as stated on their website. It’s upsetting for anyone to walk out of a retail store feeling worse than when they walked in."
