"The booking system had a malfunction and booked my stay for the night I was making the booking, instead of the first initial, requested booking date (months in advance). Within the first few hours of making my booking, the Motor Inn called to confirm my stay for that night. I advised there was a glitch with the booking system and that we lived over 2 hrs away and were not staying the night at their Motor Inn. I asked if the booking could be changed to the correct dates, which I was rudely and bluntly told no; “ Unfortunately as the booking is for today we are unable to change the date. In future please let us know at least 48 hours in advance if you would like to change the date.” The booking was just made, there was no way I could have advised any earlier. I had tried via phone and email to resolve this problem and every communication I have had with this business has been so unprofessional and not helpful in anyway. The staff are very rude and not understanding or cooperative. I did not end up staying at this hotel. I ended up booking elsewhere."
"Can't fault it. Not recently updated but not too out of date. Love having windows you can open rather than using air con. Very short walk to supermarket. On-site parking."
"Stayed at Toukley Motor inn last weekend and had a pleasant experience. It’s a quiet motel with lovely reception staff who were very polite and welcoming. The rooms themselves were very clean and up to standard with big TVs and comfy beds. Will definitely be staying here when travelling through toukley next time."
"Great place for a couple of nights stay. The reception staff were very friendly and accomodating. I required an extra bed and this was organised for me prior to my check in which was very convenient. The rooms were very clean and look newly renovated. Excellent location, by the lake, beaches and many restaurants!"
"I didn't end up staying, my trip was a gift so i wasn't pay for it. So they asked for Drivers license of the person paying for it, seriously in this day and age of cyber crime- no way. So then I tried to make it easy and said send an invoice and they will do direct deposit- again a they asked for drivers Licence . All because the booking was in my name but being paid for by someone else- hence I cancelled my stay Monica"
