The Entrance Backpackers

"I was presently surprised when I checked into The Entrance Backpackers with the beautiful local beaches of the Central Coast. The interior is very stylish and looks like something out of House and Gardens. Beds are very comfortable with soft luxurious blankets and linen, with laundry, kitchen and bathroom facilities kept clean and tidy. It felt like I was staying at a top notch, grand hotel for the price of a hostel. I also found the staff to be very welcoming, helpful and lots of fun. Add to this all the local attractions and the amazing beaches, water sports, wildlife and parks and you have the best experience you can have on the Central Coast. This is by far, the best backpackers hostel that I have stayed in, due to the work and consideration put into it by the new management. I would thoroughly recommend this place to anyone but you need to book well in advance, as it is usually booked out a lot of the time."

"For the price it is not worth This felt more as a Long Term shared Apartment and the *Backpackers* are just the guests there. Bathrooms got no clean after three days. Long terms are drunk or making fun about you. Screaming and yelling each other in the middle of the night or listen loud music. Bad Vibe there - stay away. Beware there are also Fake reviews"

"Stayed here a few times very clean and tidy place friendly staff great atmosphere the knew management where more then accommodating. Looking for somewhere cheap and friendly this is the place to stay.. See you guys again soon."

"Below is the review I sent to the owner, who did not reply so I am leaving it here: Your hostel was very friendly, so that's great, but this friendliness meant there wasn't much attention paid to details. E.g. My fiance booked a women's only room, but when we returned to the accommodation late at night, there was a man sleeping in the bed she was assigned! We nearly just drove the 1.5 hours home late at night, as she felt very uncomfortable. She also found a tick on her bed when she first arrived (but perhaps that was because it was a bed that some man had already slept in) I do recommend you have a clearer check-in procedure, as when we arrived, we were kind of just randomly told what to do as we went along, (e.g. not given the door code until we asked) So unfortunately, I cannot recommend anyone stay at your place until these things are rectified."

"Disgusting place filthy dirty , Under New management, it used to be excellent Ive stayed there before so I went back, BIG MISTAKE, room was not ready and told to come back, still not ready then told they didn’t have keys for it and didn’t know when I could get in . 5 of us with no where to stay after driving 10 hrs to a weekend festival. Asked for a refund and they refused!!! They also took more money from my debit card then I authorised. WORST PLACE EVER !!!"
