"Stumbled across this little gem after a morning of mountain biking just a stones throw away at the park nearby. Great coffee and some delicious croissants. Good service, would go again,would recommend to a friend."

"Branding on point, Food is great, coffee is great.. the best in Newcastle I have experienced, you do wait a bit due to the places popularity. This is a daily visit for me. Unfortunately recent introduction of self service electronic ordering has cut the interactions down that one has with the super friendly staff that know both your name and order so that’s a massive turn off for the atmosphere of the place and two thumbs down. I understand it makes sense for business as far as operations and efficiency goes but that’s not all there is to a coffee shop. Was a 5 star before the self service."

"Cute cafe but very concerned at the state of the toilet, disgustingly dirty, no soap, no hand wipes. Never cleaned by the look of things! I just hope the kitchen staff don’t use it and then cook food??"

"Such a great asset to the area. Love their coffee, hands down my favourite in all of Newy! Yummy toaties too! There’s some amazing staff that always have a smile and a big hello! Small downside is sometimes you may get the casual staff that seem to not care much about customer service but I find 90% of the time it’s my go to."

"Wonderful lil cafe location Great coffee Personal and warm customer service. However bias, I was disappointed with the lack of vegan food options. I've been visiting Sherwood at other Newcastle locations for years and have never been disappointed. Usually the "vegan toastie" is unreal. I was surprised to not see it or many/ any other options."
