"I placed an order for over $90 worth of food using Menulog at 6:15 pm. Initially it said it would arrive between 645 to 715. This changed after a little while to 720 to 740 pm. At 7:30 pm I received a call from a polite young man saying they ran out of chicken but had been and bought more so it will be a little late. I asked how long roughly and he said 30 minutes max. By 8:30 pm we still had not received any food. We called the number he called me on and it rang out. He returned the call and said they had been really busy but the driver had just pulled into the carpark and they would be on their way now. Food arrived at 9pm, 2 hours and 45 minutes after ordering. I feel for the young guy on the phone and the delivery driver who seemed under the pump. We live only 15 minutes away. Yes, we could have driven but we didn't want to go out hence ordering food for delivery. Having worked in this industry, I know you can have shocking times when things go wrong, you need more supplies or you get so busy you have to stop taking orders. After waiting 2 hours and 45 minutes for the food to arrive, the food was luke warm at best. 2 cans of drink didn't come (we have only ever ordered from here once before when they were in Cessnock and the same thing happened then, they forget the cans of drink). The food tasted nice even though it wasn't hot. The most disappointing bit though is the quantity of food for the amount we paid and compared to photos on menu it was much smaller and smaller than the last time we ordered."
"I wish that I'd read the reviews before ordering dinner. For a place that specialises in schnitzels they really need to consider closing the business. Google pics show a menu stating "Full size snitty...." but the size of the schnitzels that were on the burgers were barely big enough to cover half of the bun, it was more like a large chicken nugget. Paid $12 & $14 a burger and got the poorest excuse for a meal I've ever seen. I tried to call to complain but the line wouldn't connect. I'll keep trying to get through to speak with them but I doubt that it will make a difference considering the other 1 star reviews that I've read now. A very disappointing experience indeed. Saying it was poor value for money and substandard in quality is a gross understatement. Don't waste your time or money!"
"My first visit. I only ordered a schnitzel burger meal for my son. It was below average. He liked the chips but the burger not so much . Very thin/small overcooked chicken."
"My order wasn't ready and had to wait for half a meal plus hubby's is burnt. My son's was good though and did give me a free slice so might give them one more chance"
"Most disappointing meal I have ever received. I don't mind paying for quality but I have a big problem paying top dollar for minimum standard. $42 for the Parma and classic Schnitzel. There would have been at most one third of a chopped up schnitzel in both dishes. The Parma was covered with what looked to be shredded spam and Bolognese sauce from a jar in effort to bulk up the appearance of the dish. The schnitzels were flavourless (thank goodness for the gravy). A very embarrassing effort for a newly opened business."
