Calling all fishing enthusiasts! Let's Fish Lake Mac 2023 is back for its third year. This annual catch-and-release-style open fishing competition spans over two days in November. Anglers of all abilities are welcome to wet a line in Bolton Point and have a chance to win big.
In terms of safety, the NSW Rural Fire Service will be conducting a hazard reduction burn off Osland Road, Freemans Waterhole on Wednesday, August 30th, weather permitting. This is to ensure the safety of our community and prevent any potential fire hazards.
We also have some important updates regarding Blacksmiths Beach access from Maneela Street. Council will be completing track maintenance and re-direction at Maneela Street, Blacksmiths, to protect our coastal dunes and ensure safe access. Your safety and the preservation of our natural environment are our top priorities.
