"The staff are all very knowledgeable and generally very friendly. I have however been let down by the store as I bought a $1700 dewalt drop saw at tax time its now in the shop for "warranty" it didn't even last 3 months which is a joke considering the price and how it was looked after. I went to purchase another drop saw yesterday as I need one everyday for work and who knows when the dewalt dropsaw comes back, I asked the guys if they could do anything with price which I was told no. Each day that drop saw is in the shop I'm losing money the least they could have done with the money I spend there was give a slight discount for a saw I'm buying because the saw you guys sold me was faulty!"
"So time to give Total Tools another review last review was below average because of their lack of stock on shelves and just the way their staff made you feel like you were wasting their time what the turnaround actually I'm going to a award 5 stars this time because it was simply five-star service. Walked in the doors and greeted by staff member that was upbeat and happy to help me I told him what I needed and surprise surprise they actually had what I asked for three quarter to half inch adaptor I nearly fell over so off to the check out paid for what I came for and left in and out in 3 minutes keep it up Total Tools."
"Cannot be trusted to keep their word and I would give them 0 stars if it were possible. I purchased and paid for a tool kit directly with the store over the phone. After completing the purchase, I found the same product available at Sydney Tools for less. I rang the store and told them such and advised them of the lower price. They checked the competitor's website to confirm and then verbally agreed to match the price telling me they would "fix it up" when I came in to pick up the kit the next day. Four days after picking up my kit, I still hadn't received the refunded difference so I contacted them again. It was then that they told me they were now NOT going to match the price even though they had previously agreed to do so. The store manager cannot be trusted and is not a man of his word. There are plenty of other brands in what is a very competitive market category so do yourself a favour and take your business elsewhere. In the end, the only thing that differentiates them all is customer service and it seems that's not something Total Tools Warners Bay understands. Shoulda just honoured your word guys. That would have been the right thing to do."
