"A very nice and beautiful park, lots of green area with activities around located across the scenic foreshore waters. It has big shed area also that can be used for a get together. There are many food options nearby to enjoy with friends and family. Lastly there are many beaches along the way to make this location even more appealing and entertaining. Recommend it.."
"Love visiting Newcastle. Always so tranquil and so many places to explore. The walk along the foreshore was lovely and relaxing and we found a park along the way where the kids could play. Even better was finding some trees that the kids were able to climb. Brings back fond memories of when I was a kid."
"Great watching the ships coming in heading for Taiwan and other places"
"Netty. Was. Here. One of my favourite spots to pull up for car and people watching on a Sunday. Pit Lane carpark a term coined by local car fanatics is a great spot to cruise around is a #1 location for car meets in Newy. Watch the sail boats or cargo ships come in and out of the headlands. Sit in the park nearby, go to the beach or talk a stroll along the foreshore or out to the lighthouse."
"What a cool little spot! We dropped in the other day for a coffee and it was lovely. Great staff, very friendly and good recommendations for food. I had a fish burger which was just what I needed and a nice coffee. Love the local hotel across the road which consists of a few chairs under a tree:-). This is a really beautiful location, peaceful and very friendly people. The ladies in the shop told me about a sculptor down the road and I paid him a visit before we left. What a lovely little interlude."
