"Cute and safe spot to swim and float around- great for kids and all ages! This place has greatly improved since the council dredging. A calm little sandy spot to enjoy, full of little fish and minimal wash from the channel. No toilet or shower facility. Very easy access from the car park plus an accessible ramp. There a few sharp rocks / debris around so just be careful. Quite packed but pick your timing, sometimes we have it to ourselves!"
"Absolutely brilliant spot for young kids, especially when the local surf is rough or there are bluebottles around (both of which are true as I write). It's better to come when the tide is high, but even at low tide there is a small shallow pool of water to play in. It would be better if there were were toilets or showers nearby"
