The Steakhouse Wallsend

"Won't be going back there. We ordered the 600g 6 hour smoked such fillet however they had run out so we got the 300g. It was 7pm and only maybe 20 people in there for a Friday night. Unfortunately I think they forgot the 6 hour smoke part and it was nothing more than an average steak. The pork belly fake burnt ends were ok. Was also told they couldn't serve a double whisky and didn't carry vermouth so they couldn't make a whisky sour. I must of mistaken the long bench with bottles behind it as a bar my mistake. Very disappointed in the place and the fake steak house."

"I love smoked bbq and this is that! Very tender beef short rib and my husband's steak was done perfectly. Jalapeno hot sauce side was good too. Attentive staff. Good spot for a date night wallsend if you enjoy hearty food"

"I visited for the first time last night during the raffles. I found it to be quite quiet for a Friday night, but with a great atmosphere next to the fireplace, and excellent service. The brisket and beef cheeks were delicious. Shoutout to Brady for his stellar recommendations."

"DO NOT RECOMMEND FOR STEAKS Had a wagyu rump, medium rare. It took ages to get to me (a well done steak ordered after me got to the table faster). I could not believe how average the steak was, it was tough, chewy. I doubt they are getting quality cuts, they just want to sell at the price & description of quality steak. Salmon dish that my wife was good as was the service from the waiter but overall, over priced and not worth going again."

"If you have a vego in your party dont come. The 1 veg option they have is 2 dry veggie patties on a plate. No bread. No sauce. Just the patties cooked and placed in the middle of the plate. It costs like 30 bucks. You do get a dipping sauce and the server asked if I would like an extra one because it gets really dry. Think they are just like $1 patties from woolworths cooked with no oil and thrown on a plate"
