"I like to think I'm pretty fair with my reviews, and i like to sample Chinese cuisine from many places. I decided to give Golden Terrace a go. Let's start with the spring rolls, I found them decent and the sauce satisfying although my partner thought it was a little sour, but I'm Ok with it so no points lost. Now, the wonton noodle soup. The noodles felt like they were hand made and the wontons were flavorful but unfortunately the broth was tasteless. It was however nice of them to separate the noodles with the soup into 2 separate containers. The fried rice had a burnt flavor and you could see this with some burnt rice in the mix. With the honey chicken... The honey wasn't strong enough and didn't have a nice strong flavour. I Would seriously consider sourcing different honey. Although the Peking pork wasn't bad... It just isn't upto the standards of other restaurants. Why not have pork ribs in Peking sauce. Ribs has more flavour... I came here wanting to like the food and the local restaurant, however we were left disappointed and rather annoyed that it cost more than other local chinese cusine establishments. Potentially the original chef is having time off as we did order on the 28th December. But we will not know for sure."

"Very friendly staff, most surprisingly delicious food. I honestly had not expected great food due to its location, but we were most impressed. Unfortunately we live far away but would definitely be a regular. Amongst the best country authentic Chinese restaurants. Thank you."

"I thought i was in a faulty towers episode It was like they didn't want customers an we were told that they were all booked out we arrived at 6.30 pm there where only two table's taken the rest were free one had reserved sign on it but no one arrived for that table + we were made to wait for no reason I ordered the crispy chicken but got told that a previous customer had allready eaten it. Then ordered salt and pepper pork it was alright but arrived on a bed of diced onion and capsicum uncooked with fried noodles the onion was too strong and overpowering the dish. I felt like turning up spoilt the staff's evening And this made me feel uncomfortable the whole time ."
