"Beautiful pizzas with quality ingredients. Fresh and delicious. The best pizzas around. I’d highly recommend. The delivery driver we had was amazing and friendly. Top notch service"
"Went to Papa Franco for dinner with the family I had the Hawaiian Parmi it was so yum but!!! Unfortunately the only down side was that it was dry.. I also found it hard to order for a young child as there was no option for kids meals, so she had the potato wedges but... the wedges were over seasoned with something spicy and made it to spicy for little ones mouth. Please consider putting in a kids menu as most places have in this day in age."
"24/05/2023 - updated Papa Franco Wallsend Please show me where on your menu, where the Carbonara pasta clearly states it has 'cream' in it? As I have no clue what "fresh creamed yolk" is? Bitterly disappointed, left feeling sick and not receiving a product I ordered as described by the dine-in menu. With all the hype, I was so keen on having a great dining experience at Papa Franco Wallsend. Unfortunately, I will simply never be returning or ordering from them again. I am sure there are many that rave about their experiences and I am sure the menu items I chose, do not speak for other items on their menu. Let me mentioned the positive. The customer service was courteous and effective. We were a table of four. I rang previously and also commented on social media (Facebook) to see if they used cream in their carbonara. On both occasions, I was told 'no, we use cheese (pecorino parmesan and egg yolk'). With that knowledge, nothing was going to stop me from devouring a carbonara. I was aware the restaurant used bacon instead of guanciale or pancetta (I could deal with that). When at the restaurant, I questioned the cashier/attendant and confirmed that they did not use cream with their carbonara, but they use egg yolk and a cheese blend (as noted in the menu - see attached photo). Of the four pastas and two pizzas, my pasta came out last, which I wasn't fussed if one is taking time to make a carbonara. To my great disappointment, I was met with pasta swimming in cream, a few sprinkles of parsley (I have no idea why) and no black pepper? - please see photos. I had so much cream, that I was able to fill the plate next to me. After draining my bowl full of cream, I tried to eat my meal, but I was unable to finish it, as the amount of cream still in with the pasta, left me feeling sick. For the record, I am not celiac or lactose intolerant. My second menu item, was a Margherita pizza. My issue here being, if a restaurant states there's a food product in the menu item, then that food item should be in the ordered dish! Please refer to the menu (see photo) where it states "sliced Buffalo mozzarella", you can clearly see the pizza I received this evening 04/05/2023) did not come with the stated menu item 'sliced Buffalo mozzarella'. I personally, have eaten so many pizzas in my near 40 years on this planet. At best, the Margherita at Papa Franco Wallsend is on par with a Domino's Margherita (cardboard). I am not sure if this was an 'off night', I really hope so for future business. I wish I had more positive things to say, but I don't."
"Was so hyped to try this place. Ordered Supreme and Chicken/Avo. Supreme has great potential, but was woefully undercooked. Dough was soggy in the middle and toppings were cold. Chicken/Avo was just as undercooked, but bland as well. Both are not going to be eaten. It's a pity, because the older reviews were all praising. But after digging, found that many complaints echo mine with being undercooked. Will maybe try again in a year to see if it's better. Edit: My name isn't Peter. It's not a case if personal taste, was literally raw dough, that was malleable and gooey to the touch. I don't rate something negatively unless I've cause. Thank you for your response."
"Such value for money! Dined in for dinner , the restaurant was not busy however takeaway was & a few walk ins, was nice to see business is busy for them, restaurant was clean & tidy, food was hot and fresh, the pasta was cooked well! Seafood was a good mix though I only got 2 small prawns :( The snitz was massive the size of the plate! 600g! Husband could not finish it and we were offered a takeaway container to take the rest home! Yum, we will be back again! Thanks"
