"I would say this hole-in-a-corner joint FAR exceeds the overpriced salty question mark that is Nagisa in Newcastle's two authentic Japanese restaurants. Fairly priced and beautifully presented fresh food. Had the salmon sashimi Bento that was generously portioned. Nigiri with just the right protein to rice ratio that makes their Japanese sushi master ancestors proud. The only downside is that this is open at odd hours 0900-1500 which makes you question who eats sushi, ramen and bentos so early... they are really missing out on the dinner demand that Nagisa monopolizes."
