"I was just walking around my neighbourhood and try to walk pass this apartment public pavement. The gardener block the whole pavement and asked me to not walk on the pavement. Ridiculously rude people working there considering there is no road block or any sign saying I can't walk on a public road."
"Living here has been a nightmare. Theft occurs daily, last night four cars were broken into, mine included, in a secure carpark which is not so secure thanks to non action from the EC and strata. Motorbikes and bicycles are also regularly stolen from lockup areas. Excuses flow from anyone with any responsibility endlessly, but no action taken and false promises given. We have had storage cages broken into, as well as mail and parcel theft. I’m up to 4000$ in losses in 9 months, with my car likely to be a write off as it is assessed by insurance for the massive damages it suffered last night with the break in and attempted theft. When reporting to the ACT police they guessed I lived here before I even said the address, and refused to come out to take a statement or investigate, that says all you need to know about this complex. We feel unsafe living in this complex and it appalling considering the cost of living here. The apartments have been built shoddy, and the building itself is a ticking time bomb for major defects. I feel sorry for anyone who has invested money purchasing in any Geocon development."
"Horrible place to live. Poor quality building with leaks, non existent sound proofing and zero heat regulation. At night you can hear people showering on the floor above or the lift bell as it goes up and down the building. Major issues with theft which ec/strata blame the residents for despite blatant security flaws with the complex. EC is a bunch of narrow minded stuck up residents that have clinical superiority complexes. I have experienced thousands of dollars in damages living here, package theft, car break in, storage break in, parts stolen off my car, petrol stolen from my car - it is akin to living in a third world country. It is also extremely overpriced."
"Don’t buy from them they really stuffed me around and my brand new apartment has been inhabitable since my tenant moved in due to faults in building. I keep chasing invoices and my apartment to be handed over but who knows. I will be forced to see my first investment property. Don’t buy from them."
"Stupid decision to buy the apartment here. Horrible quality of the building. New building with multiple issues. The dishwasher was broken in the first week when we move in. Now the toilet is unable to use. Nobody comes to fix them for half a month! Pay money to strata, for doing nothing. Save your money, avoid Geocon."
