"Came for breakfast, restaurant cosily warm, staff friendly professional and helpful. Food was delicious, I had the Chorizopan - Chorizo Sausage, fried egg, Swiss cheese, salsa, aji amarillo served in brioche bread - it was absolutely amazing and easy to eat because I used tools called a knife and fork! Pricing for our amazing breakfasts I considered good value when eating at an Award Winning Venue. Coffee was beautiful, but then it is roasted on site, great venue, lovely gardens great for some warm weather alfresco dining. They have a fantastic selection of patisserie - apparently they have a Cordon Bleu patissier chef - heavenly cakes, croissants and freshly baked sour dough unfortunately I was too full up but bought some for later on!! Bonus has its own car park so easy to park too ( found parking in some Barossa towns quite difficult) highly recommend."
"Beautiful venue. Looking at the photos on Google I took kids along thinking they did pizza but they only do pizza on Friday nights. My bad. The food is generally amazing quality but just be aware the serves are pretty small and quite expensive. A main dish of broccoli is yum (cooked al dente) but costs $38. Perfect place for a nice afternoon sipping South American wine slowly eating small beautiful plates but probably not great for satisfying hangry kids."
"The food is fresh and tasty, but be aware it is on the pricier end (meeting expectations here). This is a review based on my own paying customer experience. The quality and execution of food is great, I have no complaints about this. You will pay a pretty penny for it. For some reason I expected this to be a brunch-type of place, it is not, it a small family run restaurant. Although to me, it does elicit a ‘cafe-style’ vibe (the coffee machine/ counter, pastry cabinet etc) that kind of thing. Do note their menu is on the smaller side here (about 5 entrees and 5 mains). This means less variety but also more quality controlled processes in the kitchen. The mains start from about $38. I personally can’t justify the food for the price here, but there is a market out there who can. The service was lovely from all the staff. Where this review loses a star is the after-treatment of getting blocked on social media. I provided good points and my pain points just like this review, receive a 2 message long reply and then get blocked. I mean, we are in the day and age of ‘I don’t owe anyone nothing’ but I still think it’s an immature move."
"El Estanco offers a great ambiance, the outdoor area is perfect for a sunny day or to bring the kids. Food wise, the price is not reflected on the flavour. The Feed me option has a long way to go to justify its value or why it doesn't end with a dessert. Presentation wise, they are already there. Hopefully the venue keep improving because it has all the potential to be an excellent option."
