"This is a popular Filipino restaurant and judging by how busy and full it got I would agree. We ordered kare kare and banget, which is crispy fried pork belly pieces. Both were delicious. The banget was especially tender and skin was very crispy. Of course we had the halo halo and this was a very generous size, enough for 2 or one very hungry person! The only reason I give this 4 stars is the very simple menu. A few more choices would have been great, crispy pata for example and maybe even sisig. Otherwise, the staff were friendly, attentive and welcoming."
"We ordered sisig, papaitan, chopsuey, and empanada. And this is one of the best Filipino Restaurants I have tried here in Australia. We recommend booking a table first before coming."
"Awesome food! My Aussie son and husband enjoyed the meal especially the ribs and the caldereta. I also love the lomi noodles soup. A bit of a wait as apparently our order did not print (;we ordered thru the app. As expected, it was a full packed place being a Sunday. I booked for 11:30 as it was the only option given to me online. We had to wait for my mum in law to board her train and it took a while for this to happen. I called up the resto and they kindly said it's ok to be late. So we got there and no table was actually ready for us but no worries, they found one, cleaned it up and we're set. We'll definitely go back when we visit our son again, just not so soon as he will visit us in Tassie in August..There are also other nationalities dining not just Pinoys. Their reputation is growing as our son heard about this place too from his mates. I heard about it through my Sydney mates who come here after going to the Floriade each year! I'm glad I took my family here. I seldom enjoy Filipino food in restaurants in Australia, as I think my cooking is better, lol. But this one is not bad indeed! Thanks Kim and other staff for a great experience. My son said he shall take his mates next time, hope their order gets printed out to the kitchen, lol."
"I had heard about this place from a lot of my Filipino friends and I can see why they liked it. I took my mum here to celebrate her birthday and we absolutely loved it. We noticed it was really popular and when I asked my mum why she thought that was so she said it was because the place was authentically Filipino and that it put the food first. The food came out really quickly, like within 10 minutes, and was definitely the best Filipino I've tried in Canberra. delicious. Even my dad, who doesn't normally like 'exotic' food really enjoyed it. I highly recommend anything with ube on the menu for a unique, sweet taste; or the crispy bagnet for a rich, meaty flavour with a unique soy vinegar sauce. If you're planning to go on a weekend I'd also recommend booking a few days out to ensure you get the time you want."
