For only $180, you will receive pastel paper and access to all pastel materials for the day. Learn how to make your sunsets pop using the beautiful medium of soft pastels.

If you're interested in a more comprehensive learning experience, we offer a five-week course called "Painting with Soft Pastels" hosted by Janette Humble. This course, priced at $305, includes Canson paper and takes place every Wednesday from August 3 to August 31, from 2pm to 5pm. Immerse yourself in the beauty of soft pastels and learn the foundation techniques of pastel painting.

For young artists, we have the "Quirky Australian Animals" children's art course with Zinia King, starting on August 16 from 4pm to 5.30pm. Join local artist Zinia King for a five-week deep dive into learning, drawing, and painting Australian animals. Each lesson will begin with a discussion about a particular Australian animal, sparking creativity and appreciation for our unique wildlife. The course fee is $160.

At Adelaide Hills Art Academy, we also provide art supplies to enhance your artistic journey. Check out the Mungyo Square Soft Half Stick Pastels 48-Piece Set, made for artists with fine pigments in gorgeous colors. These soft pastels are easy to blend and layer, perfect for creating stunning artworks. Each pastel is 2.7 x 0.8cm in size, suitable for hands of all sizes.

If you're looking for personalized guidance and mentoring, we offer "Pastel Mentoring" with Trevor Newman. Starting on July 28 for five weeks, this course is priced at $295 and takes place every Thursday from 10am to 1pm. Trevor Newman, a skilled artist, will demonstrate pastel painting techniques and mentor you through your own chosen subject.

For those interested in oil painting, we have "Exploring Realism in Oils" with David Kemp. This five-week course, priced at $295, takes place every Thursday evening from 6.30pm to 9.30pm, starting on July 28. David Kemp will provide a brief overview of the classical method of oil painting and emphasize the importance of a consistent value structure.

Join us for a full-day art class on Landscape Painting with Trevor Newman on Saturday, July 9, 2022, from 10am to 4pm. For only $150, you will have the opportunity to explore different methods and techniques in landscape painting. Lunch and beverages are available for purchase from our cafe, ensuring a delightful and inspiring experience.
