Our Place Early Learning Googong

"Our three children have absolutely thrived and flourished at Our Place! We started our first child when it opened in August 2018, and our second and third have attended since. Our eldest is very ready for kindergarten 2023 and that is largely because of the early education he received! Our second and third are thriving and exceeding all developmental outcomes. The entire team (management, teaching, kitchen, cleaning), are absolute rock stars and the resources available for our children are next to none in the free / explorative play. I absolutely adore their imaginations, play, social skills and ability to create from things we take for granted!"

"Collectively our children have attended Our Place Googong for over 4 years. During that time they have flourished and we couldn't be happier with the centre. The team is always welcoming and happy to communicate with us. They clearly tell us about the happenings in the centre and we receive regular updates about their days in the StoryPark App. Despite the impacts of the pandemic, due to their outstanding procedures and protocols, we have had minimal disruption to our children's care and health. All the while, our children have developed wonderfully and they have benefited enormously from interacting with the team members and other children. Child care is a tough industry to retain team members, and the centre is no exception. They do have team member changes from time to time. I will say however, we never feel lost or confused. The communication is very good. Irrespective of the team member, they are always kind and welcoming and build great relationships both with us as parents, and more importantly, the children they care for. Specific to this centre, they do not charge fees for public holidays when they are closed. The food is all provided on site and the menu will cause hunger pains in the stomach's of the parents reading the menu they announce daily! The washing of clothes is done by them, so there is no dirty laundry sent home or lunch box packing. They also use cloth nappies and we greatly appreciate their dedication to the environment. Thank you again for the wonderful experiences you have given our children and us as parents over the last few years!"

"Steve and his team have done an amazing job with our son and we are forever in their debt. Their service, activities, food, care and programmes are all of a very high standard. Since transferring to this early learning centre, our son has completely changed for the better and is now much more sociable and willing to happily engage in discussion and play with other children. He even started to talk, despite not having any success with this previously via multiple specialists. We will definitely be placing all of our children here, as we are sure that no one else can do a better job in the southern hemisphere. We thank them once again and know that our son is in good hands."

"My little one has been attending this centre since it opened in 2018, and overall we have had positive experiences. The staff are responsive to questions and feedback, and encourage the children to explore and learn, allowing them to follow their interests. The chef feeds the children fabulous nutritious meals every single day! The centre uses a cloth nappy linen service and they are very mindful of reducing their impact on landfill. Regular updates are provided using an app."

"I've been super happy with the care provided by Our Place, Googong. The staff are supportive and show a genuine interest in the well-being of children in their care. My son had issues settling and having naps at his previous centre (and the way that they dealt with this was the reason we left), but at Our Place, the educators worked with him to find what helped him to settle. The centre has lovely facilities and the educators provide engaging activities for children to explore. I loved being able to send in several sets of clothes, which were laundered on site, as need be. The food provided is excellent - my son ate all kinds of things that he wouldn't usually touch at home. I'd highly recommend Our Place."
