Hope Marland Park
About the Business
Welcome to Hope Marland Park, a truly iconic and unique play space located in Queanbeyan West, Australia. This establishment is not just a park, but a point of interest that captures the spirit of inclusivity and community.
Hope Marland Park was named after Hope Marland, a dedicated Queanbeyan councilor who served for 30 years and was a true advocate for creating inclusive communities. In partnership with the Queanbeyan Council, Moduplay was entrusted with the task of designing and creating this exceptional playground. We are honored to have been involved in this project that continues to carry Hope Marland's legacy.
The park's design takes advantage of the existing site's unique layout, incorporating split levels into the play space. The upper level provides picnic settings, allowing for easy supervision of the playground below. Additionally, the existing tower lookout has been preserved as a nod to the site's history. Alongside these features, you will find a selection of state-of-the-art play pieces that cater to users of all ages and abilities. Full shade is provided for the long-stay items, ensuring a comfortable and enjoyable experience for everyone.

"Lovely park with both space to run and great equipment. There's lovely covered areas to sit and watch the kids."
"Very functional park in Queanbeyan West, there is a field beside it. Kids can play with kites as well. However, the park becomes shady after 2 PM in Winter. So will be cold if the weather is Windy."
"Fantastic park. Our 18 month year old loves it. Plenty of parking and seating available"
"Great space for the kids. The toilets however were at the soccer club and were not the best. No soap in the toilets but we had hand sanitiser which was adequate."
