"Wildbark at Mulligans Flat Rosenberg St, Throsby ACT 2914 Great visitor centre, including Wildbark kitchen. Features Sanctuary Access gate and Nature Play inside the fenced area around Wildbark. You can access the sanctuary through the wildbark gate you’re greeted with a boardwalk that leads to the larger Mulligans Flat and into the wetlands with signposted track. Or choose your own adventure and walk one of the other routes off the boardwalk and into the sanctuary. Nature Play features a series of concrete play tunnels, stepping logs, garden beds, and large tree log with foot access carved in to help children climb up. Fun addition for a family day out with wildbark kitchen serving up family friendly food and seating with a view."
"The Oz Mega Committee had a meeting and dinner on Friday night 16/6/23 . A great night . We had an exclusive room for our meeting in a quite private location followed by a wonderful dinner . Incredibly, all meals were delivered within 10 minutes of ordering and delicious . We will be back for more meetings in the future plus meals and night tours in the next few months . 5 star ⭐️ service all around . Highly recommend for a walk, coffee meal or a tour !"
"Lovely location, friendly staff that tried very hard to be efficient and a good play area for kids as long as you are willing to supervise. Unfortunately, the food was disappointing. The mushroom medley on toast had a very small serve of mushrooms, spinach & feta & the toast was barely toasted. It was expensive for what we got. On a positive note, the coffee was good, even if it wasn't a full cup."
"It was an unexpected honour to be the first paying guests for evening service at Wildbark. The menu is the same as that served at lunch time, so excellent, familiar offerings. We all had burgers which arrived quite quickly. The gently spicy beef burgers seemed to be the best pick. And there were a good range of local wines to choose from. As the only diners there at the time, it lacked a bit in atmosphere but I expect it will be a popular destination for locals and visitors taking evening walks in the adjacent Sanctuary. A great start."
"Nice location, and thats where it stops. Food is unfortunately horrendous for the price. Paid $19 for a Reuben sandwich which came with 1 slice of pastrami, maybe a teaspoon of sauerkraut and a slither of cheese, and some mustard spread thinly on the sourdough. Wife ordered the 'fancy' mushroom dish and was served basically stewed mushrooms on a bed of lettuce. Neither of us received the proper side salads mentioned in the menu, just some lettuce thrown down. 8 dollars for jam toast and it's sachet jam...the least you could do is pretend and put it in a ramekin. Sunday surcharge not advertised anywhere so was fairly surprised when a regular coffee cost nearly $7. All in all, they need to pick up their game and I'm a bit confused what "her canberra" was talking about recommending this place, because it was a huge waste of $80. Would never eat there again."
