Reviews of Tropique Mediterranean Restaurant-Charcoal
"Our meals were really delicious and well priced, I would have given 5 stars but unfortunately it did take quite a while for our order to come out. We will definitely come back, the chicken had such a great charcoal flavour! The staff were super nice and they gave us some Bhutanese dumplings to try (I presume because our order took a long time). I’ll come back for the dumplings again, the flavour was delicious. I understand they only make them on weekends, and they didn’t seem to be on the menu so maybe ask in store if you go. I had the charcoal chicken wrap ($14), and it had nice fresh wrap, crisp salad and delicious chicken. My husband had the charcoal chicken burger ($14) and it was also great. I’d like to try some of the other items on the menu, but I think ill come a bit earlier in the day next time."
"Worst takeaway experience ever. Food was average but the attitude of the manager when we rang to get the rest of our order was deplorable! Half of the order was missing and what we did get was not worth going back for seconds. Manager argued that what was on Uber eats was not the deal and refused to fulfil the offer on Uber eats. Half a box of overcooked chips, an average tasting chicken and 4 soggy nuggets is all we had to go on, even though we paid $57 plus $15 delivery! Beware of this place, absolutely terrible."
"Very nice yummy burgers.. and now they have the Mediterranean food as well.. vegetable stew was simply great.. nice mix of vegetables served with rice.."
"Solid place, but nothing special. Standard burger was good, great charcoal favour on the chicken. Quarter chicken was pretty bad, dry and tough with no flavour. Chips were cooked in some old oil, average crispiness and poor taste. Prices are pretty good though. Had a while to wait for our meal, but we came in at an awkward time of day."
