Reviews
"Awful service, hotline never answered or hanged up."
"Very smooth, staff is really nice, got my visa in three days, no waiting time"
"I checked website for documents and it took me less then one hour to submit the visa application. Staff are very nice."
"You still need to stay in a long queue even though you booked online. More than 30 people in the queue but only one staff was working at the counter. Poor service and inefficient at all."
"Hope this can help others, there is a lack of information on their website. You need an appointment to submit your visa application these days. As of 16 Jan 2023, they only offer regular service (no express or rush services), and a visa valid for only 3 months with 180 days per visit (for Q2 category and perhaps other ones too). I was desperate to get a visa due to gravely ill family member. I drove from Canberra to Melbourne to get my passport and flew back to Canberra to apply. The lady refused to accept my application simply because I ‘live’ in Melbourne. There was no negotiation and I had a few tears there.. Sadly got told that I had to go back to Melbourne to apply, but the next appointment at Melbourne visa centre is weeks away. You thought it doesn’t matter where you apply in the country, but it’s so divided and they don’t look after people from outside Canberra."
