Reviews of Umbagong District Park
"This is a must do walking path the only reason it’s not 5 stars it because of all the snakes in the area"
"lovely district park. I have loved walking around this nature walk. i feel this is a little gem of a spot and not a lot of canberran's know of this space. when i have walked here it can be very secluded and quiet which is lovely. the grass can be long so i recommend looking out for snakes on warmer days. awesome big playground here. one time we saw a lone kangaroo here too. there are bbqs and shelter areas for with picnic table at furthest end from kippax direction. hidden little gem. a few bridge walks over the river very scenic!! Stepping stones over the creek."
"Formerly great and will be again - keep up the pressure - a great park in need of capital repair. Great sweeping walking paths that take you on a wide and varied trip around the creek on either side. Two good playgrounds in the mix. Great design for an urban park. Bring back the bridges!!!"
"Nice place for an easy, mostly flat walk along the Creek. Shared cycling and walking path. Some picnic tables and a playground."
"A nice place to walk around and explore. The only issue if of your children has a phobia of dogs despite clear signage a lot of people treat the area as an off leash area. The stepping stones are always fun with little ones, just be aware of the recent weather and possibility of flooding."
