"DO NOT RECOMMEND.... This was our go-to local takeaway, , previous owners made the best pizza in Woden area. New ownership and food quality has deteriorated significantly Initially had a bad experience with a fish and chip order, inedible due to the amount of salt on the meal, but gave the new owners the benefit of the doubt and continued to frequent, convenience over quality, until an issue with a family dinner order. I pre-placed the order at 430pm, giving 2 hours notice for our family meal order, 630pm collection. Newborn baby in the house, needed to feed the masses without too much effort. Arrived at 630, pizzas ready and garlic bread being wrapped. Should have checked before leaving, all pizzas burnt outside and raw in the middle. Garlic bread still frozen and butter solid. Returned to takeaway to get replacements, having 6 adults at home waiting for dinner. No pizza available, out of bases. Provided refund but very disappointing experience, WILL NOT RETURN!"
"We ordered dinner from here tonight. A large pizza and a burger with chips and some scallops. The food was delicious. The pizza was a 10/10, perfectly cooked and a top 5 for Canberra in my opinion"
"I've been coming here regularly for lunch for the past couple of weeks after finding this place. I've normally ordered the same item of chips and gravy with the occasional burger. I rarely write reviews however today I felt utterly disrespected at how I was spoken to by one of the staff. Never have I been treated like this especially as a regular customer. Whoever owns this place needs to train this staff member in respectful communication. It has honestly put me off ever wanting to com back even though the rest of the staff have been lovely."
"Omg! My newest favourite takeaway... easy contender for canberras best pizza! This is a Large Hughes Special. It'll cost you $30 and is worth every cent. Staff are helpful and friendly. Also recommend their seafood sticks and crumbed fish. Takes me back to how a takeaway should be Thanks heaps guys, keep up the amazing work"
