"Came late for a quick coffee The coffee was beautiful but the sweets were from the morning. So I'm hoping to go back and try them again because the lemon meringue and creme brulee tart were nice. Service were exceptional"

"Great coffee, really friendly service and a delicious array of bakery products. The food coming from the kitchen looked DELISH, can’t wait to try some. Well I had the brisket Benny and it was divine. Served on potato rosti and with a killer bearnaise sauce ~ so good!!!!"

"The place has a limited menu, as you would expect for a place this size, but don't let this fool you. The staff is helpful and polite. The bread and pastries are great, and the plates are surprisingly good. The crispy brisket is an instant favourite, and we'll be back. The coffee gets a 4/5 but I would put the missing star on the account of the beans. Edit: another visit, and not disappointed. Tried the special of the day, Prawn Po'boy. It's hard to handle o ln the sandwich format, but the fork and knife gently served covered for that."

"Enjoyed the experience at Tinker Tailor in Macquarie. There are a few excellent café in the Jamison shops and this is definitely one of them. I love their ceramic cups as well, adds a fancy element to the drinks they serve. The chicken curry pie is amazing and I would highly recommend that. Their sausage and egg muffin has two meat patties which is generous and improved the appearance of the muffin. Duck and confit salad was a special on a Saturday and was not too bad either. "Pastries looked lovely (they say there are no preservatives). We stayed for breakfast. Coffee and chai were very good (it was a true chai with heated milk and whole seeds). Breakfast was very good. My haloumi roll was a lovely combination of flavours although it was very messy. My husband's sourdough crumpets were delicious, although they had run out of crumpets and served the dish with sourdough toast... which he claimed was actually excellent. We'll be back!"
