"Ordered 4 packets of rice, broccoli and some yoghurts for click and collect on 11 aug 2023. When I went to the store to collect my order they gave me only broccoli all other things were apparently out of stock. Lady who was helping me gave a slip with that I could buy those items in the future even if they are on full price for half because originally they were half price when I ordered them. One week after went to the store today to clarify the refund process, the manager was there and she made it clear on this. The grey slip that I had received I had lost it, I asked the manager if I could get another slip but she denied she even said I could have used that in other store and I am asking for another one. That was so rude. You might be fraud I am not, I have genuinely lost that slip, if you think I could have used it in other store all Coles being one network you could check if I had used it somewhere else . Manager Soph you don’t deserve to be a manager, you don’t know how to deal with customer. Being a manager of Such a huge supermarket you could not solve a little issue like that. Such a shame."
"A big bright open store with plenty of stock at reasonable prices, and not crowded. Staff were friendly and helpful. Made shopping a pleasure. Recommended"
"Asked the manager to check the back/computer for something and he got smart with me claiming that "if they had it out the back, it would be on the shelf" - meanwhile he has 7 different people there literally working for hours at night to take stuff from the back to on the shelves! Stark contrast to when I asked a staff member at Curtain down the road. He immediately checked on the computer device, asked me how many I want and then went out the back to grab them for me. There really are some people around who work in customer service who get off on poor customer service. I'm surprised how many of them seem to keep their jobs for so long, probably because they are often condescending and make it out as if they're being nice."
"Our preferred supermarket. We know the friendly and helpful staff. Best to go midweek when shelves are better stocked. Sometimes, it can be a bit annoying with checkout queues and inadequate staff."
"Store ok overall but some staff are unhelpful and outright rude to my husband or myself on different occasions. On 28 March around 6.15pm the Mini manager forgot their code so couldn’t pass the transaction over the $ limit so lied to my husband that store has limit of 4 gift cards even though the big sign said 5 card limit. The mini manager even refused to allow the 5th card on another transaction. Today 31 March , around 8pm , I asked store to refund as store staff scanned one of the gift card twice so I paid for 2 cards but the card is loaded once, the transaction said the second card was declined . So got credit loaded to 1 card , 2nd card blank (receipt for the 2nd card says declined), the staff had no idea and refused to call manager on duty, even lied to my face that there was no manager at all in store and none can be contacted. She called manager on duty when I insisted that she call the highest level in store out. Manager came out, refused to understand and said to call customer service as one gift card left store he wouldn’t touch it. Even after I said this has happened to me a couple of times in other Coles stores and managers there could fix it aka provide refund for the card that wasn’t activated while payment from me went through. Pretty disappointed with this store staff knowledge and willingness to learn or help. Even no apologies that it is Coles’s fault and i am wasting my time to even ask them to fix their mistake."
