"A quaint albeit oddly-decored place, not a bad coffee at a pinch. I always worry about how a coffee will turn out when served by a very young "barista" who doesn't appear to drink coffee herself, but the result was palatable. Not a bad place to sit and read a magazine if you don't mind reading news that's a year or two out of date."

"Above-average in terms of friendliness, and the coffee is tops. While takeaway and delivery are available, this is a very inviting place to dine in. The lighting is relaxed, and the WiFi password and network name are up on the blackboard. The blackboard has some cheerful characters from Lewis Carroll, drawn in coloured chalk. The outdoor tables are cute, and the indoor tables are positively charming, as are the posies on tables. Loads of old magazines to read while you wait, and several high chairs for the young ones. The Big Breakfast is advertised as a 'signature.' While not mind blowing, it was cooked with skill and was a very solid effort."
"Straight up i enjoyed eating here. This Cafe was a bit of a random pick from Google maps. I was craving poached egg & was hoping it was on the menu. Luck would have it this gem of a Cafe filled my craving and ticked the boxes for everything else. The atmosphere was cosy and out of view of the little commercialised shopping it resides in. The coffee had just the right bitter but not sharp (my preference) taste. The eggs benedict were perfectly cooked with the right runniness but not under cooked. Bacon was decent. Ham was plenty. Right amount of hollandaise. I do think it could have done with an extra slice or larger slices to catch the runny yolk but that is a minor issue. The Cafe did have some out of place clutter which slightly dulled the atmosphere. However, overall, I'm certainly looking to return again if I'm in the area. Thank you EMDME Cafe for the relaxed experience!"
