Previously occupied by Western Basement, we have given it a finessed fit-out with an earthy contemporary look. "This place is my local so it doesn't bring me any joy to bag it. If you're into craft beer, this is the best option southside and I appreciate that they change their taps regularly so always interesting to come in and see what's new. Service is friendly and usually fairly prompt. Unfortunately the food has always been a disappointment in this place (with the exception of slow-cooked meat), particularly given that it's not exactly cheap for pub-style meals. I've never understood why this place can't at least match a Queanbeyan or Cooma pub when it comes to food...those places have higher quality food at lower prices."
"Came here with my research group, and it was amazing. Staff were great, food was delicious (we all bought the Tuesday special haha). It's definitely pricey though, so I'd recommend getting the daily special meal that they provide."
"A lovely modern pub located below street level that serves all sorts of drinks from soft, to wine, beer and liquor. Food on offer ranges from chips, to burgers (including pulled pork, the usual schnitzel through to desserts (creme brulee, brownies, etc). There are indoor and outdoor seating. At times it can be noisy and has sports on the screen. Staff are friendly and engaging. Parking is across the road at the Woolworths."
