"I recently had the pleasure of getting my haircut at Ace Cutz Gungahlin, and I must say that the experience was fantastic. Despite the challenge of working with my silky hair, the barber did an outstanding job. Here's why I highly recommend their services: Having silky hair can often pose a challenge for barbers, as it requires a delicate touch and precision to achieve the desired style. However, the barber at Ace Cutz Gungahlin showcased his expertise and skill in handling my hair with utmost care. From the moment I walked into the salon, I was greeted with a friendly and welcoming atmosphere. The staff members were professional and attentive, making me feel comfortable throughout my visit. The barber assigned to me listened attentively to my preferences and concerns, ensuring that he understood exactly what I was looking for. Working with my silky hair, the barber displayed remarkable patience and meticulousness. He took his time to assess my hair texture and consulted with me at each step of the process. I appreciated his attention to detail and the effort he put into ensuring that every strand was perfectly in place. What impressed me the most was the barber's ability to work with my hair's natural characteristics. He skillfully tailored the haircut to suit my face shape and personal style, resulting in a look that exceeded my expectations. The precision of the cut and the seamless blending of layers showcased his expertise and craftsmanship. Throughout the haircut, the barber maintained a high level of professionalism, constantly checking in with me to ensure my satisfaction. He offered valuable suggestions and styling tips that I found helpful and appreciated. It was evident that he genuinely cared about providing the best possible service and ensuring that I left the salon satisfied. The overall experience at Ace Cutz Gungahlin was excellent. The salon was clean, well-maintained, and had a modern ambiance. The staff members were knowledgeable and passionate about their craft, creating a welcoming and comfortable environment for their clients. I highly recommend Ace Cutz Gungahlin for anyone, especially those with silky hair. The exceptional service, attention to detail, and the barber's expertise make it the go-to place for a great haircut. I left the salon feeling confident and satisfied with the results. Thank you, Ace Cutz Gungahlin, for providing an outstanding haircut experience. I will definitely be returning for future hair services."
"So I wanted a haircut that short/wave like the picture I showed the guy the picture that I was explaining specifically I want like this picture he said do you want short haircut and I said again yes l want like the picture and I showed him again and then he said so you like short and I don’t understand if he got the message or not as he was doing it he was very rough and quick without reassuring me or putting the mirror at the back to see the back if was good or not the haircut looks horrible and the razor he was using he was very rough with it and make my skin red and itchy nearly make my skin bleed also the price was shocking because he did not do like the picture and I got charged $35 for a haircut that he didn’t do the right job that is the last time I’m going to this place if I’m getting the treatment like that again."
"I went to get a haircut last week and explained to the guy that I just wanted a little bit off the top and then he proceeds to cut way too much off my hair and doesn’t talk. I went to pay and he didn’t say anything to me and was rude about it. It was one of the Indian guys by the way. Biggest regret going they used to give me good haircuts but then suddenly the quality declined if the device and effort. Would not recommend to go here"
"I recently returned to Canberra (I was born and raised in Canberra but have lived, worked, and studied in Palm Beach Florida for twenty plus years). I was looking for a place that does "fades" and I came across this shop on Google. The barber that cut my hair was in the back right of the shop/last chair (if your facing the register). I assume he is from India or Asia - like me (my parents are Indian). Upon meeting the barber I shook his hand and introduced myself, I went on to show him photos of my most recent haircut and asked if this was something he could do. I also told him I had a hair transplant a year or so ago so if if he could only trim the top and be "gentle" with it. Throughout the entire haircut the barber never spoke a word. When I asked that he take the fade a little higher he sighed with a deep heavy breath. He treated me like I was someone he didn't like or didn't care for. He barely listened to anything I had to say. At one point he asked "so you want some off the top but not too much and not too little?" I again told him that I had recently had a hair transplant and only wanted it trimmed or "evened out". He stared at me like he was perplexed or like I was speaking in another language. He also used a hard brush on my scalp which I did not like especially since I had informed him I had a transplant. If it not for him being so rude I would have asked for my beard to be trimmed, maybe more. When he was done. He yelled out "NEXT" and escorted me to the register (no other barber did that the entire time I was at the shop). The fade he did was not too bad but his "bedside manner" and utter disregard for being polite and friendly was borderline disrespectful. When I said "thank you" he never said no worries, you're welcome, or anything of the sort. When I introduced myself he didn't give me his name as I did, he didn't care. I gave him $40 and left. In South Florida I pay my barber $40 and it covers a line up, edge, beard trim/color, and a much better fade (the barbers don't use combs to fade, only clippers). Overall it takes about 30 minutes of my barbers time and they take the utmost care to ensure that their clients get what they want. This barber spent about fifteen minutes with me. I've never had a barber be so rude - why not try to build a rapport with a client? or just be friendly? It's a shame because despite the fact that the fade wasn't great, I would be happy to go back if it weren't for the barber being so rude and disrespectful."
