"I had a wonderful time at Maji tonight. We came in a large group with lots of children so took us a bit of time settling in. Maji was not pushy and gave us ample time to go through the menu. After ordering, food arrived not long later and not to mention the food was very generous and delicious (alot more generous than most Japanese restaurants in Sydney!) Husband also thought their teriyaki chicken was one of the best he's had! Service was also wonderful. Will definitely return the next time we're back in Canberra."
"Lucky to have a Japanese restaurant that serves a variety of seasonal fish and each one is thoughtfully prepared. Absolutely great quality. I hope they are appreciated."
"Dishes are nice, good portion, really enjoyed the golden butter mushroom dish (see photo), table was clean, but air cond wasn’t strong enough. It was warm inside the restaurant during mid summer. Location was hidden at a corner, took us a while walking around to find the place. We thought the restaurant was closed and almost gave up searching. There is a park near by, great for a relaxing walk after dinner"
"Not bad overall, but just slightly above average. Food is good but not worthy for the price. Average service. Location and atomsphere is good, quiet, design and style are exceptional."
"Maji is a fun modern Japanese restaurant with a western twist. Some of the food was a little random and not entirely sure the flavours hit for me, but it was still an enjoyable meal worth trying and beautifully presented. The fried sushi was really random, I definitely rather normal sushi... Service was great and the ambiance/venue is good too."
