"I love roast pork when it's cooked well. Unfortunately, on this occasion you got it wrong. It tasted like it had been reheated, no pork crackle. When I asked if it comes with crackle, the waitress said no, you should have of ordered the pork knuckle. Not good."
"The sign out the front says new manager, new hours, inside is warm and inviting. Best of all, they have a great young chef who is turning out some great quick meals, perfect with a beer for lunch and dinner. We tried the chicken schnitzel roll ($16 with chips and salad ) and the pulled pork roll ($16 also). Really nice and a great price. We were told later that the pulled pork starts life as the pork knuckle, which could explain why it’s so good. Whole place needs a bit of modernising but I understand that’s on the way too. Well worth a try."

"I like the kinda awkward vibe here. I do wish the decoration in the restaurant was softer, like the checkered table cloths they had a year or so ago were fantastic! The new owners seem enthusiastic, and I wish them well. The food is good, though I reckon it could be amazing and be the-place-to-go for schnitzels, just needs a bit of a softer touch."
