"Great Indian restaurant just behind Manuka shopping centre. I normally avoid rice, and instead use naan, but here the curry was too fluid so I had to order some rice just to be able to eat the sauce. I had a Rogan Josh which was great. I was on a work trip, so I was alone."
"My wife and I ate here this evening. Well when I say ate here, we didn’t actually eat that much. The entree was ok, fresh enough although the dips that accompanied were tiny. Certainly not enough for two people. When it came to the main dishes, they weren’t great at all. They were luke warm, lacking flavour and depth and just all around poor. When we got up half way through the meal to go to the counter, I was honest and gave proper feedback. For instance my meal was meant to have pepper that gave it a kick. I’m sure it was sugar that was there instead. The owner said he wouldn’t charge for at least one meal. He lied, he took $8 off the total bill. We went here as I have a corporate booking coming up. I shall be taking the business elsewhere."
