The name Ganjees is inspired by the Ganges River, the longest river in India. During Puneet's last visit to his home country, he noticed sadhus (holy men) wearing sunglasses and driving motorbikes. This inspired him to bring a touch of funkiness to Indian food, just as the sadhus had done.
Our menu features a variety of mouth-watering dishes, such as pan-fried prawns with fresh garlic, capsicum, and onion shallots, and pan-fried lamb and lentil cakes served with picked onions and creamy mint. We also offer deep-fried chickpea-battered ling with garlic-chili and curry leaves, as well as pulled lamb with pappadum, tamarind, aioli, and coriander carrots.

"My recent visit to Ganjees Indian Restaurant with a group of five friends turned out to be an absolute nightmare. The poor service we received left us utterly disappointed and frustrated. From the moment we stepped in, it was evident that the restaurant was overbooked and unprepared to handle the influx of customers. Firstly, the water glasses on our table were visibly dirty, and it took multiple attempts to get the attention of a server to replace them. We were shocked to find that our table had no cutlery or even napkins, leaving us feeling neglected and overlooked. The restaurant seemed to be focused on catering to a large ongoing party, completely forgetting about the other diners, including us. Our order was taken after a long wait, but the dishes were brought to our table cold and unappetizing. The bread and curry tasted as if they had been sitting out for hours, likely leftovers from the aforementioned party. Throughout the evening, our attempts to communicate our dissatisfaction were met with indifference from the staff. It was disheartening to see how little they cared about our dining experience. In all honesty, I cannot recommend Ganjes Indian Restaurant based on this terrible encounter. The lack of attention to basic hygiene and customer service is unforgivable. If they cannot handle multiple reservations and ensure quality service for all their customers, they should not accept bookings beyond their capacity. I would strongly advise others to consider alternative dining options to avoid such a disappointing experience."

"Me & my friend ended up getting the $32 Banquet which was absolutely delicious & the right amount of food for 2 people. The entree was the perfect amount of spice and the mains were very well balanced and filling. & the dessert to top everything off was just right. Shout of to Samar the manager for being very friendly and accommodating and to Jahnvi for the spectacular waiting"
